What type of activities do you offer?

  • We offer guided outdoor activities such as rock climbing, multi‑pitch climbing, hiking and nature walks, as well as custom programs for families, friends and corporate groups.

  • Our trips are designed for beginners and experienced participants. Each activity is labelled with a difficulty level so you can choose the right option based on your fitness and technical experience.

 Do I need previous climbing or hiking experience?


 

  • No, many of our outings are suitable for first‑timers. Our professional guides will teach you the basic techniques and safety rules before starting the activity.

 Are your guides certified professionals?


 

  • Yes. All our mountain and rock climbing guides hold official guiding qualifications and are registered professionals with extensive experience in the region where we operate.

What equipment is included and what should I bring?


 

  • We provide all the technical gear needed for the activity (helmet, harness, ropes, climbing hardware, etc.). You only need to bring appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear, water and snacks; a detailed list is sent with each booking.

How safe are your outdoor activities?


 

  • Safety is our top priority. We work with certified guides, regularly inspected equipment and established safety procedures, but outdoor activities always involve inherent risks that cannot be fully eliminated.

Where do the activities take place?


 

  • Most of our activities take place in natural areas in Catalonia, including mountain ranges such as Montserrat and other nearby climbing and hiking destinations close to Barcelona.

Can you create a private or custom trip for my group?


 

  • Yes. We design tailor‑made experiences for private groups, schools and companies, adapting duration, difficulty and objectives (team building, skills training, family adventure, etc.).

How do I book an activity and what is your cancellation policy?


 

  • You can book directly through our website or by contacting us by email or phone. During the booking process you will see payment options, confirmation details and our cancellation terms and conditions.

Do you offer insurance or do I need my own?


 

  • Our company has the legally required liability coverage, but we strongly recommend that each participant has personal accident and travel insurance that covers mountain and outdoor activities.

  • At GDM, we are almost exclusively focused on the Montserrat mountain, while at Climb in Barcelona you will find offerings that go beyond that.
