Hiking proposals in Pedraforca and Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park

 

Pedraforca 360º Circular Route 

  • A moderately difficult 17 km circular hike around the Pedraforca massif offering spectacular views from all sides. It combines forest trails, alpine meadows, and rocky paths with elevation gains around 1,100 meters. Ideal for experienced hikers looking to explore the iconic shape of Pedraforca.

 

Cavalls del Vent Multi-Day Trek 

  • A 4-5 day circular trail about 85 km long, crossing the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. It includes hiking through high mountain ridges, alpine pastures, and forests, passing 8 mountain refuges. Highlights include peaks like Tossa and Comabona, and the Pedraforca itself.

 

Ascent to Tossa de Cadí

  • A popular day hike within the Cavalls del Vent itinerary, leading to the imposing Tossa peak with panoramic views of the Cadí range and surrounding valleys.

 

Penyes Altes de Moixeró Route

  • Another favored hike along the Cavalls del Vent, this trail provides rewarding panoramic views over Berguedà and Cerdanya and opportunities to spot mountain wildlife.

 

Vall de Gresolet and Empedrats Gorge.

  • This route leads hikers through scenic forested valleys and impressive rocky gorges at the base of Pedraforca, culminating in the Gresolet Sanctuary and refuge, a perfect rest stop.
